Hakanson Anderson has been providing Engineering and Land Surveying services to municipalities and private enterprises for the past 40 years.We are seeking a full time Civil Engineer with 6-10 years of experience.Hakanson Anderson values integrity, innovation and a results oriented approach in a team environment. Typical Job Responsibilities:
You will work in a team environment participating in all aspects of project design and coordination; collaborating with other team members within the company to deliver quality services to our clients. You may perform the detailed design for portions of a major project, or in total on a project of moderate scope.Specific tasks may include plan preparation, writing specifications, and preparation of technical reports.Your responsibilities may require overseeing the work of EITs or Technicians. You may also be asked to participate in public presentations and will have many opportunities to advance your career as you successfully accomplish projects of increasing scope and difficulty.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to carry up to 40 pounds while working in inclement weather
- Valid MN Driver’s License
- Must have the ability to immediately work in the United States on a full time permanent basis
